It’s hard to believe that our sweet little Dessa is already nine weeks old. Nine weeks! Oh my word, how on earth did the time pass by so quickly? Our two month well-visit at the pediatrician is later today and I am equally excited and sad to find out how much our baby girl weighs. On the one hand, I love how alert she has become and her sweet little baby coos melt my mama heart. But then I think about how tiny Dessa was when we first met her and a piece of me feels a little heartbroken that she will never be that tiny again. This mom stuff can be so bittersweet!
Rob and I had newborn photos taken of Dessa a few weeks after she was born and today feels like the perfect time to share photos of our no-longer-a-newborn baby girl.

Happy nine weeks to my darling girl! I love your tiny fingers, your sweet smile, the funny old man face that you make when you are upset, and your precious little soul.
