A perfectionist and a nerd fall in love. This is our story.
We’re Maria (the perfectionist) and Rob (the self-proclaimed nerd) and we are holding hands as we journey into our “happily ever after.” Of course, we’re no fools. Building a marriage that lasts takes a lot of time, a real effort, and a great deal love and patience. For better or for worse, we are dreaming of what our future holds and laying all of the groundwork to build that future together.
We invite you to join us on the journey through home buying, blogging, building a family, and everything in between. We have great big dreams and a few people think we are crazy, but we are happy to be Crazy Together.
We both have a love of blogging (Maria’s popular teaching blog, Kinder Craze is known by teachers around the globe and Rob’s blog, Spare Time Science is … let’s call it a personal passion) so creating a lifestyle blog together was a natural choice. Maria has a great love of all things visual and she is the self-appointed Creative Director of Crazy Together. Rob is the on-call nerd to solve technical issues that stand in our way. It really is a match made in heaven.
When we are not turning our rental house into a home, studying up on Dave Ramsey and sharing those experiences with you, we are just two regular people. Maria teaches kindergarten at a local Catholic school and Rob is a attorney at a small law firm, where he works with public schools and municipal bonds.
(It’s a nerdy job, but somebody’s got to do it.)
We are looking forward to the next big chapter of our lives: parenthood! Baby Gavin is expected to arrive July 10, 2017 and we couldn’t be more thrilled.
We won’t know the sex of the baby until we hold it in our arms for the first time. Boy or girl, this child is certain to be loved!
