Last Minute Christmas Gift Ideas for Her
Just because the shopping deadline is approaching, doesn’t mean you have to settle for less-than-fabulous gifts for her. There are still a number of great items in stock on Amazon and Nordstrom (not to mention that e-gift cards can be purchased Christmas morning.) I either own or have my eye on all of the last minute gift ideas on this list and they are sooo good!
1 In Love Eau De Parfum ($53) – My previous perfume ran out several months ago. I’ve been wearing the same scent since college and have been searching for a light, feminine fragrance. The In Love scent from Lollia is perfect and at the top of my wishlist!
2 Elisa Birthstone Pendant Necklace($60) – I have owned a few different Elisa necklaces and I love how versatile they are. I’m partial to the silver and ivory style, but they are available in a variety of different metals and stone colors (there’s no rule that says you have to get your birthstone color.)
3 CND Vinylux Nail Polish (10.50) – When you don’t have the time or budget for a real manicure, this nail polish is the next best thing. It is the most durable polish that I have ever tried and my at-home manicures usually last for a full week! All the colors are great, but I especially love Romantique. Great stocking stuffer!
4 Kate Spade Grand Street Small Rachelle Leather ($188) – If you are looking to splurge on a luxury gift, you can’t go wrong with a Kate Spade bag – especially a classic black bag. This one is versatile, stylish and such a great piece.
5 Liverpool Pull-On Sierra Jeans ($89) – These are the most comfortable pair of jeans that I have ever worn. They fit like a leggings, have lots of stretch and somehow also look fabulous. Some sizes are prime eligible, others are not, so do a quick check before you add them to your cart to ensure delivery by Christmas.
6 Sonix Southern Floral iPhone Case ($35) I’ve been using Sonix cases on my iPhone for several years and they offer stylish, feminine protection to prevent cracked screens and breakage. I’m partial to the Southern Floral design, but there are so many great Sonix designs that will arrive by Christmas.
7 3-Pack Slipsilk Hair Ties ($39) – The whole internet seems to be going crazy over the benefits of silk for protecting your hairstyle. I’m sooo curious to try these silk hair ties and see if they help to prolong my curls, but I’m not sure I’ll ever take the plunge and try them with my own money – which is why I’m asking for them for Christmas.
8 Slipsilk Pure Silk Pillowcase ($85) – While I’m asking for silk hair care, why not go all-in and request a silk pillowcase?
9 Hot Tools Professional 24k Gold Curling Iron ($31) – I’m on the hunt for an upgraded curling iron and 5,000 people on Amazon love this one. I have my eyes on the 1″ barrel for my long, thick hair and the price can’t be beat.
10 Kendra Scott Signature Elton Cuff Bracelet ($125) I adore this bracelet because it has a lightweight, feminine design, but is also substantial enough to make a statement.
11 Canon Rebel T6i Digital SLR Camera with 18-55mm SLR Lens ($599) – I have loved my camera for a long time and I appreciate the quality of photos that my camera delivers so much more now that I’m a mom. I know so many other moms who would love to have great quality photos of their children without having to pay for professional photography. I know a fancy camera can be intimidating, but just putting a few simple tips into practice will easily deliver great quality images.
12 Canon EF 40MM F/2.8 STM lens ($129) – Once someone owns a good camera, it opens up a so many possibilities for easy gifts. This is my favorite lens for shooting portraits of Dessa. It’s much better than the standard lens that comes with most Canon cameras. I love this lens so much that I actually purchased it as a family gift for my sister in law (who plays the role of family photographer for her kids) last Christmas. Just make sure the lens is compatible with the camera of the person you are gifting.
13 UGG Shaye Rain Boot ($85) – Admittedly, I adore my tall black glossy Hunter boots, but those aren’t available for delivery before Christmas. Luckily, UGG released a very similar style with a much lower price point and they are lined with fur inside!
14 Erin Condren 12-Month Deluxe Monthly Planner ($59) I love my Erin Condren planner and was shocked to see that they are available on Amazon! This one isn’t personalized, but the covers are interchangeable so the recipient can easily purchase a personalized cover from ErinCondren.com later on.
15 Spanx Look At Me Now Leggings ($68) I know the price may seem a little steep for a pair of leggings, but these are perfect. I already own one pair and have a second pair listed on my personal Christmas wish list. If you know someone who never splurges on herself, this may be the perfect (practical) gift!
16 UGG Ashley Water Resistant Slippers ($100) – I received my UGG slippers for Christmas a few years ago and can’t believe how well they have held up after so much use. You can’t go wrong with a great pair of stylish slippers!
17 PaperMate Flair Pens 16 Pack ($17) – I discovered these amazing pens while I was in the classroom and still can’t get enough of these felt tip pens. The colors are gorgeous and the pens make bold strokes that won’t bleed through paper. Great stocking stuffer!
18 Rothy’s Gift Card (various amounts) – After hearing so many amazing things about Rothy’s, I recently decided to give them a try and fell in LOVE. I currently own three pair and plan to buy another soon. The stylish flat shoes are made from recycled water bottles and are unbelievably comfortable.
19 Rothy’s Slate Metallic PointShoes ($165) – Speaking of Rothy’s, I think this slate metallic pair is so chic and I want to add them to my closet!
20 Tieks gift card (various amounts) – If Rothy’s aren’t at the top of her Christmas wish list, Tieks might be! I own three pair of these foldable luxury ballet flats and I get asked about my Tieks all the time.
21 Stitch Fix gift card (various amounts) – I’ve received many Stitch Fix gift cards over the years and it’s the gift that’s always a perfect fit! Stitch Fix offers personal styling for women in all shapes and sizes (including plus, petite and maternity) which makes a Stitch Fix gift card the perfect gift for any woman.
Last Minute Christmas Gift Ideas for Him
Stumped about what to buy for the man in your life? I get it! Men can be really difficult to shop for. Luckily, Rob rounded up some of his favorite last-minute gift ideas and shared a glimpse into his personal Christmas wish list. The best part? Every single item on the list is available on Amazon, including a great item under $10.
1 The Middleman: Volume 4 ($25) and 2 The Middleman: Volume 5 ($25) – I got into this series after watching the short-lived TV adaptation on ABC Family way back in the day. If he loves comics, this is a great, funny, and quirky series to get into.
3 Contigo SnapSeal Stainless Steel Travel Mug ($9) – I’m in the car A LOT, so a great travel mug is a necessity, especially since I consume nearly a pot of coffee a day. I love Contigo’s mugs and these have been in our cabinets for years now. Great Stocking Stuffer!
4 Dewalt 18-Volt Compact Drill/Driver Kit ($178) – As you probably know, Maria loves to have great decor to hang on the wall, which makes having a good battery-powered drill a must. This drill is powerful, compact, and performs great.
5 Dewalt 20″ Panel Saw ($20) – I can tell you the number of times I’ve wished I had a basic handsaw, which is why I added this to my list this year. It can be such a pain to pull out a circular saw for a simple, easy cut. This will be a welcome addition to my workbench.
6 Fossil Men’s Buckner Leather Messenger Bag ($110) – I have an older version of this bag and it is probably my favorite bag I’ve ever owned. It carries my laptop, power adapter, my work papers, and my Nintendo switch all in one simple, compact, eye-catching bag.
7 Ansel Adams: The Camera ($20 paperback version) – We take a lot of photos in the Gavin household and I love to improve myself by reading. Ansel Adams is one of my favorite photographers of all-time, so I’m eager to learn from this master.
8 Letters of Note: Volume 2 ($28) – This book is what it sounds like: a collection of historically interesting, amusing, or significant letters. I have the first volume and I often pull it off the shelf to read a few of my favorites. If you’re interested, I recommend checking out the blog that started it all, Letters of Note.
9 Fire HD 8 Tablet ($50) ON SALE – I find myself reading on my phone a lot late at night because my iPad is bigger than I want to deal with. Everything I’ve read about the Fire HD 8 is that it is a great tablet for low price and it just works. I’m really excited to try something out that fits my lifestyle better.
10 Waterproof Kindle Paperwhite ($116) ON SALE – My Kindle is probably my favorite device of all time. I’m now on my third Kindle and I have adored every single one of them. If you are a serious reader at all, this is an absolute must, whether you buy your books from Amazon or borrow them from the library.
11 Nintendo Switch ($299) – I am a gamer and this is the best video game platform I’ve ever owned. Why? Because you can take it anywhere. Nintendo has a history of putting out unique systems, but this is the most versatile gaming system in the world.
12 The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim for Nintendo Switch ($51) – I already own this game on my PC, but I love it so much that I want it all over again for my Nintendo Switch.
13 Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus for Nintendo Switch ($51) – Wolfenstein: 3D is a classic computer game and I still have fond memories of my dad teaching me how to play it and how to enter cheat codes on our old Windows 95 machine. So, of course, I want this latest entry into this classic video game series.
14 TP-Link WiFi Extender ($24) – Our WiFi router is located in our basement and we have a few deadspots in our house. This extender should really help us cut down on those deadspots and improve the coverage in our house.
15 TOMS Men’s Brogue Oxford ($48+) – I wrote about these shoes in a recent Stitch Fix post and I cannot recommend them enough. I absolutely adore these shoes.
16 Jaipur ($24) Note: expected to arrive after Christmas – This is a really fun, two-player card game about competing traders. I’ve played it a number of times with a good friend of mine when we wanted to play a quick game and it’s always an enjoyable time.
17 Ticket to Ride ($45) – This is our current favorite board game. Whenever we’re away with family or friends for the weekend, this game comes along with us and always gets played. Maria’s brother loved it so much after he first played it that we bought for him as a present earlier this year.
18 Catan ($44) – One of the all-time classic indie board games, Catan’s players try to build up their own empire through raising resources and building cities and roads. The game is simple to learn, but involves a lot of strategy. I’ve played this so many times with friends that I thought it was time to own it.
