The first of the month has arrived and so has my February Stitch Fix review! I’m sure you love consistency as much as I do so I’m pleased to announce that I will be sharing a Stitch Fix review on the first of every month here at Crazy Together. As much as I love consistency, this month’s fix was a change-up. My regular stylist, Layla, was unavailable to style this fix, so Jen stepped in as my “guest stylist” (that’s what I’m calling her anyways.) The stack of clothes Jen sent had a lot of potential and I was eager to try them on.

This month’s review also includes a $50 Stitch Fix gift card giveaway and a link-up for other Stitch Fix bloggers to share their latest fashions. You’ll find both of those items on the second page of this post.
Abrielle Color Block Sweater
The first thing I tried on was the Abrielle Color Block Sweater from Market & Spruce ($58). I knew I loved it as soon as I saw the soft mint stripe. I never would have thought to mix mint with cream, black and gray; the combination totally works!
I have a mint statement necklace (similar here) that matches almost nothing in my closet. I was so excited to finally have an opportunity to wear the necklace.
Initially, I decided to play with the dark stripe across the top of the sweater and balance it out with the Emer High Waisted Tall Trouser pants from Margaret M that came in my 16th fix. I also sported my Matte Black Tieks to keep the look casual. If you’re curious to know more about Tieks, you should take a look at my honest review.
This outfit would be perfect to wear to work in my kindergarten classroom. It’s comfortable and casual but still looks professional.
What I love most about this sweater is how easily it can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. While a professional spin is great during the workweek, my preferred weekend style is much more relaxed. Luckily, Jen also included a great pair of jeans in this month’s fix. (More on those in just a minute, but first I have to finish gushing about this sweater).
The casual combination of the sweater and jeans perfectly suited my style and made me weekend ready.
Briley Skinny Jean
Ok, let’s talk about these jeans. Before she styled my fix, I let my stylist know that I was finally going to bite the bullet and purchase some booties. I requested a new pair of jeans that would look great with my new booties. Jen saw my message and included the Briley Skinny Jean from Level 99 ($108) in my fix. The jeans were a perfect fit. Not too tight, but flatteringly slender.
They also happened to look great with the new Dream Pairs boots I purchased on Amazon for a steal.
I cuffed the pant legs slightly to style them with the booties.
Without the cuffs, these jeans are the perfect length to wear with a simple pair of flats like my Matte Black Tieks. This will be a great look in the next few months when we finally begin to transition back into Spring.
Jardina Cable Knit Open Cardigan
Do you ever peek at your fix before it arrives? I never used to, but ever since I downloaded the iPhone app, I can’t seem to help myself. I was really excited to try everything on in my fix except for one item – the Jardina Cable Knit Open Cardigan from En Crème ($68). It looked oversized in the photo and oversized isn’t really a style that I go for. I like my clothes to be tailored, trim and neat.
This was a whole lotta sweater and I wasn’t really sure how to style it at first.
Knowing I had to wear it with something, I went into my closet and the wheels in my head began to spin as soon as I saw the Alessandro Silk V-Neck Blouse from Amour Vert For Stitch Fix that came in my 32nd fix.
I threw on a black statement necklace (similar here and here) along with my black Chelsey Fossil watch and new black Toms wedge booties.
Sometimes the fun of Stitch Fix is just trying something new to push your style boundaries a little out of your comfort zone. I didn’t choose to keep this sweater, it was exciting to experiment with a new style and I’m happy that Jen took a risk and sent it my way.
