Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanzaa, and a Merry Christmahanukwanzakkah to you, dear readers!
Maria and I were a little too late to get Christmas cards out this year, but that didn’t stop us from having a quick shoot for our first Christmas together as a married couple.
We even brought out the mistletoe to help us get in the Christmas spirit.
These photos may seem a little familiar if you follow us on Instagram. We have a whole series of photos called the #sadrobphotoproject with me looking very sad in front of the Christmas tree.
We ended up with a whole bunch of photos like this and Maria could not stop laughing as she was going through the photos from the shoot. I’m actually a really upbeat guy, but my face just ended up looking so sad. All I was doing was waiting patiently for Maria to test the lighting (which was really finicky that day), but my resting sad face made for some unintentionally hilarious portraits. I have a feeling you’ll be seeing more #sadrobphotoproject photos in the future.
And to prove to you that I actually am a pretty upbeat, fun guy, I present to you my attempts to get Maria to kiss me under the mistletoe. I don’t understand why she kept laughing instead.
Merry Christmas from our little family to yours! We hope your Christmases are filled with family, love, laughter, joy, good food, and safe travels.
