Hello and welcome back for another style box review. I’ve been on a really big Wantable kick lately and I’ve been embracing a healthier lifestyle for the past three months so I have another Wantable Active Edit to share with you today. In truth, I had an automatic subscription set up for this Active Edit that I forgot was coming my way until it landed on my front porch. My forgetfulness is working in your favor this month because the clothes inside were cute and I couldn’t resist taking photos while I tried them on so I could share a full review on the blog.

Request Your Favorite Items in your Next Wantable Edit
You’re sure to love at least a few of the items that you’ll see in this month’s Active Edit Review and I’ve made it super-easy for you to request your favorite pieces in your own Wantable shipment. I’ve linked nearly everything that I tried on this month in the Wantable Stream. If you see something you love, simply click on the name of the item. The link will send you directly to the item in your Stream feed so you can request it in your next Active Edit with the click of a button. Many of the items I tried on for today’s review are available exclusively through Wantable, but a few of them are available through other online retailers. I tried my best to provide links to those items as well for easy purchasing.

Grey Camo Pull Over
The Grey Camo Pull Over from Interval by Wantable ($60) was the first item I tried on from this month’s Active Edit. The top was lightweight, comfortable, and a good basic layer. It wasn’t stiff or scratchy, but it also wasn’t super-soft or cozy, which made the $60 price tag feel a little steep. I’m not always a huge fan of camo print, but I appreciated that it had a gray/black color scheme that felt chic when paired with leggings.
It’s still pretty chilly in Michigan these days and I’m cold most of the time. A lightweight pullover isn’t enough to get the job done for me on these cold days, so I sent the Grey Camo Pull Over back to Wantable. The shirt wasn’t for me, but I think it could be perfectly suited for someone who loves camo print and isn’t always cold.
Electric Tank
Next up from my Wantable Active Edit was an Electric Tank (purchase it here) in a deep merlot color from Glyder ($48). The tank fit true to size with an open back design and a flattering, loose fit. It also had large arm holes designed to give a peek at your sports bra. I hate oversize arm holes on regular tops, but don’t really mind that feature for activewear.
The Electric Tank was just fine for working out, but the wine color wasn’t my favorite and I don’t really care for open-back tops. I also already own plenty of budget-friendly workout tops that I stocked up on from my Amazon activewear try-on. It seemed like a no-brainer to send the Electric Tank back to Wantable.
Womens Solid Strapy Bra Mesh Black
At this point, I had already been wearing a few additional items from my Wantable Active Edit so I should probably point them out and let you know what I thought. My Wantable stylist sent a new sports bra in my shipment this month – a black Solid Strapy Mesh Bra from Wear It To Heart ($38). You could see a little of the sports bra under the Electric Tank, but here’s a better look at it.
The Solid Strapy Mesh Bra was a good quality, basic sports bra that offered medium support. I liked the mesh detail along the back and the crisscross straps in back. I noticed that the bra’s fabric was a little scratchy when I first put it on, but the bra was comfortable once I was wearing it. I needed another sports bra to have on-hand in my closet so I kept the Solid Strapy Mesh Bra. It’s not the most comfortable sports bra that I own, but none of them are super-comfy anyway, so I really don’t mind wearing it for a quick morning workout.
High Shine 7/8 Side Pocket Legging
I think it’s time to finally tell you about these pants. My stylist sent a black pair of High Shine 7/8 Side Pocket Legging (similar here) from Interval ($70). Although they were labeled 7/8, these pants had more of a 3/4 when I wore them, which was fine. They were comfortable, stayed nicely in place while I wore them, and you couldn’t see my underwear through them when I squatted down. I appreciated the fact that the shiny fabric felt a little more chic than a basic black pair of leggings, but there was one downside. The shiny material drew a lot of attention to my panty line. You could see a very clear outline of my underwear, along with every wrinkle and lacy detail right through the texture of the pants. The High Shine 7/8 Side Pocket Legging might not have been see-through when I bent over, but the outline of my underwear wasn’t leaving anything to the imagination. It was a no-brainer to send these back to Wantable.
Contour Jacket
My Wantable Active Edit included a great layering piece this month as well – a wine-colored Contour Jacket from Jessica Simpson ($60). The jacket was gorgeous and very high quality. It was also lightweight, with an almost silky feel. I loved how the rose gold zipper elevated the look and I enjoyed the thumb hole detail in the sleeves.
The Contour Jacket was simply fabulous and a great addition for anyone that loves the fashion of activewear. If I were the type to work out at a gym with lots of people around, I would have bought the jacket in an instant. But I’m more like the mom who quickly gets in a workout at home while the rest of the world is just starting their day. No one would ever see me wearing the jacket and it just seemed impractical to keep. Sadly, this one also got sent back to Wantable. If you love this jacket as much as I do, you can get the same purple one on Amazon or get a different color on Zulily for about $21.
Be Good Do Good Tee
I love a good graphic tee, and the Be Good Do Good Tee from Bobeau ($38) that came in my Wantable Active Edit was a good one. It had a great fit, was very flattering, and incredibly soft. I was very tempted to keep the top and loved this entire outfit.
The one downside of the Be Good Do Good Tee was the fact that like most white shirts, this one was slightly sheer. In the end, I sent the top back to Wantable just because the fabric wasn’t as opaque as I would have liked.
Homey Rib Jogger
At this point, only one item remained in my Wantable Active Edit – pair of Homey Rib Joggers from Z Supply ($54). Technically, the color was called “cocoa” but it was more of a dusty gray-pink, which I loved.
These Homey Rib Joggers were SO good. The fabric was buttery soft and warm, and the cut had a flattering fit without being too baggy. I also appreciated the cute snap details along the ankles. I was very tempted to keep the joggers, but I lounge in leggings all the time and didn’t need another pair of cozy pants – especially since I already own one pair of cute and cozy joggers that sits untouched in my closet most of the time. Ultimately, I made the practical but difficult decision to send these back to Wantable. You can get them through Wantable or purchase a pair on the Z Supply website.
What I Kept and Returned From My Wantable Active Edit
This is the third Wantable shipment I’ve received in the past few months (check out the previous Edits here and here) and, I have got to say, I’m completely impressed with the service, the stylists, and the clothes sent my way. Even though I only kept one item this time around, I had so much fun trying everything on and really loved many of the clothes that came in my Active Edit.
