We know it has been a while since we shared a family update, but it’s been a little busier than usual in the Gavin household. Our beautiful baby girl Dessa Marie arrived on July 13. She has been an absolute blessing in our lives and she couldn’t be any more perfect than she already is.
It has been a busy week filled with lots of joy, a few tears, and complete awe at how we can possibly have so much love someone so tiny and new.
Dessa is one week old today and we just had to celebrate with a photo!
Thank you so much to everyone who expressed their love, concern, and prayers for our growing family. Dessa’s birth story certainly was an adventure unlike anything we’ve ever experienced and we look forward to sharing more of that experience with you in the coming weeks (just as soon as this very exhausted Mama can find the time to sit and collect her thoughts at a computer). In the meantime, we will keep trying to share little glimpses into our new life at home on Instagram stories.
