When it comes to fashion I have two great loves: feminine details and convenience. You already know that Stitch Fix makes it easy to receive clothes hand-picked by my personal stylist direct to my door. For jewelry, I am especially particular. I seek out pieces that are soft, feminine, and fit my personal style. I also love experimenting with mixed metals. It takes me longer to decide if jewelry is a good fit for my personal style. Fortunately, Rocksbox is the perfect way for me to try new jewelry before I make the commitment to make a purchase.
Thank you to Rocksbox for sponsoring this post. I received payment, trade and/or products from Rocksbox in exchange for promoting. Of course all opinions stated are my own and I only promote brands and services that I love. This post also contains affiliate links for your shopping convenience. I receive a small commission each time someone makes a purchase through one of my links, which helps to support the blog.
So what exactly is Rocksbox? Well, Rocksbox is a jewelry subscription service that allows you to try out new styles of designer jewelry. It provides unlimited access that begins when you complete a style survey and begin creating an online wishlist for your next Rocksbox. For a small monthly fee (only $19 a month) your rotating jewelry selection begins! You’ll receive your first Rocksbox containing three pieces of designer jewelry.
You can hold onto these items for as long as you want as long as you are a subscriber. If you love any of the pieces you can purchase them at a discounted price, or if you’re the type that loves experimenting with new looks and trends, you can wear the pieces for a day then drop the mail in the pre-paid shipping envelopes and send them back to Rocksbox. As soon as they receive your shipment, a personal stylist will review your style survey and wishlist, then send three new pieces of jewelry your way.
My most recent Rocksbox contained these art-deco inspired earrings that were a little too heavy for my delicate jewelry preferences. They were, however, the perfect accent for my flapper Halloween costume. I held onto the earrings just long enough to make it through the holiday and I plan to drop them in the mail tomorrow to receive my next Rocksbox.
My box also included this gorgeous Kendra Scott Elisa pendant in Irridescent Drusy. I love the soft gold color and the hint of a sparkle.
I’ve been a Rocksbox member for several months and I have kept some truly beautiful pieces that fit my style perfectly. When it comes to mixed metals, these have become my favorite go-to items. Every piece mixes and matches perfectly with each other and with my rose gold engagement ring.
I know that the best jewelry inspiration comes from seeing how someone else styled their favorite pieces. Here are a few recent photos so you can see how these items fit into my personal style.
The silver Pavé Square Studs and Elisa Silver Necklace in White Pearl helped me achieve a balance of hard and soft when I wore gray florals with my black pants and riding boots.
The Shimmer Bar Bracelet in Rose Gold from Gorjana is one of my absolute favorite pieces and it pairs beautifully with my white ceramic Fossil watch.
Sometimes it also pairs well with another delicate bangle. Like this Beaumont Bangle from Moon & Lola.
When I find a really great item I buy it in multiple colors and this Kendra Scott necklace is no exception. The silver and white one I already owned was an instant favorite and this Elisa Necklace in Iridescent Drusy is the perfect compliment to warm colors in my wardrobe.
It stacks great with other necklaces, including the Aurora Large Necklace from Gorjana that came in my Rocksbox few months ago.
You might want to update your own Rocksbox wishlist to include these beauties. Here is the list from top to bottom:
Rose Gold Bangle – Shimmer Bar Bracelet in Rose Gold from Gorjana
Silver Earrings – Pavé Square Studs in Silver from Sophie Harper
Yellow Gold Cuff – Beaumont Bangle from Moon & Lola
Yellow Gold Pendant – Aurora Large Necklace from Gorjana
Short Silver Pendant – Elisa Silver Necklace in White Pearl from Kendra Scott
Short Yellow Gold Pendant – Elisa Necklace in Iridescent Drusy from Kendra Scott
