Like all good things, my bachelorette getaway weekend eventually came to an end. As a sweet sendoff, all of the guests were sent home with a “Manicure in a Jar” party favor.
My very sweet friend, Stacey (who is also a teacher-blogger) is a Jamberry consultant. To celebrate her one-year milestone as a member of the Jamberry Team, Stacey reached out to me and wanted to collaborate on a project. Her timing was perfect, because my spa getaway bachelorette party was only weeks away and I knew my Matron of Honor, Kristy, was planning to gift each guest with a “Manicure in a Jar” at the end of the weekend.
Stacey graciously offered to contribute a one Jamberry sheet and nail lacquer to add to each jar. I am currently obsessed with all things floral so I hand-picked the “Boutique” design for each jar. I love the watercolor flowers. They remind me of spring and gardens.
Pink Lemonade nail lacquer was also selected to coordinate with the Boutique wraps. It’s light and airy with just a slight pop of color.
Kristy picked up all of the extra supplies we needed and we had a little jar-assembling party a few nights before our getaway. If you follow my personal instagram, you may remember seeing this photo. Things were crazy for both of us that week and we were happy to finally crack open the bottle of wine I gave Kristy when I asked her to be my Matron of Honor.
By the end of the night, we had assembled a beautiful collection of “Manicure in a Jar” party favors. I couldn’t wait to share these with my weekend guests.
The completed jars contained:
EOS Lotion
True Blue Super Softening Hand Lotion from Bath & Body Works
Jamberry Nail Wrap – Boutique
Jamberry Nail Lacquer – Pink Lemonade
Nail Clippers
Emory Board
Orange Stick
Large Cotton Balls
Each nail wrap sheet was cut into 3 sections so it could easily fit in the jar. Two of those pieces were inserted at the very end so they were peeking out among all the other goodies inside.
Before filling the jars with all the fun stuff, I folded a sheet of application instructions (provided by Stacey) and laid it in the bottom of the jar along with one of the nail warp sections. Next went in the cotton balls. Since the two lotions were the largest items, I added them next, followed by all of the remaining smaller items.
As a final touch, I tucked the two remaining nail wrap sections back-to-back so they were peeking out in the center of al the other items. I also added a decorative touch and tied some ribbon around the rim of each jar with a little ivory lace ribbon from Hobby Lobby.
Note: The EOS lotion was a tight squeeze, but it did fit in the jar with a little applied pressure. I was also able to remove it from the jar. I just had to had to hold on tightly and pull. It wasn’t ideal, but the color was such a perfect match for the nail wrap, I couldn’t resist!
