Thank you Stitch Fix for sponsoring this post and the $1,000 Stitch Fix gift card giveaway. You know how much I honestly love this amazing service and I’m always excited to partner with one of my favorite brands on the blog. This post also contains affiliate links and I earn a small commission each time someone makes a purchase through one of my links, which helps to support the blog. All opinions are my own and I am genuinely excited to share this very fun post and giveaway with you today!
Share the Excitement of Stitch Fix
When I visited the Stitch Fix headquarters in September, I heard a lot of stories about the company. They weren’t over the top or show-stopping. Just stories about regular people using the service. Like how many employees at Stitch Fix HQ get their own fixes delivered to the office and everyone stops to see what arrived in their coworkers box. Or about how one of the executives noticed a pile of Stitch Fix boxes stacked up in her child’s school because so many of teachers schedule their fixes to arrive on the same day so they can share the excitement of opening a fix with each other.
There is something so fun and personal about Stitch Fix – it’s an experience that just begs to be shared with a friend. I get a little taste of that connection each time I review my most recent fix on the blog. And I know that you feel the connection as well because I always get so many sweet comments – usually just people saying how much they loved a particular item and what a perfect fit it was for my style.
With the holidays approaching, I wanted to do something a little different and share Stitch Fix with Nicki, one of my very best friends. Nicki and I go way back. We’ve been friends since first grade and we stood up in each other’s weddings. We also both happen to love Stitch Fix.
So, in honor of the holidays, we both requested a “holiday” fix filled with cocktail dresses and other special occasion clothes. Then the two of us got all dolled up, and tried on all of our beautiful pieces from Stitch Fix.
Stitch Fix is Better with a Friend
There is something so personal and fun about the adventure of receiving new clothes. It’s why so many women enjoy shopping with their friends. It isn’t necessarily about the joy of shopping, it’s about spending time with a girlfriend.
But what if you don’t care much for the busy malls, long lines and hassles of traditional shopping? I personally don’t like that experience at all, and sharing Stitch Fix is the perfect alternative. It’s a great opportunity to catch up on anything new, give honest feedback (as only a girlfriend will) about the clothes in your fix, and maybe even enjoy a glass of wine together. You can’t do that at the mall!
Give a Stitch Fix Gift Card
I’m sure there are some really special and wonderful women on your Christmas shopping list. And there’s a good chance that they are difficult to shop for. For as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted new clothes for my birthday and Christmas gifts, but I am very particular about the fit and style of clothes that I wear. My poor mom stopped trying to buy clothes for me while I was in high school and Rob has found that his best chance for success in the clothing department has been to buy me a scarf. But a Stitch Fix gift card is always at the top of my Christmas wish list.
I favor practical gifts and a Stitch Fix gift card is the best of both worlds. It’s not just online credit. Rather, a Stitch Fix gift card provides the recipient with something truly special: a collection of items that are hand-picked just for her. Opening a Stitch Fix box always feels a little bit like Christmas because the items inside are always a mystery to me (even when I peek at the clothes in my Stitch Fix app before they arrive.)
When my Stitch Fix box arrives in the mail, I know that it’s something unique just for me and I can’t wait to try the items on.
I personally have received several Stitch Fix gift cards in the past three years and it is always a welcome gift! My friends and family members know all-too-well how much I love the service and they wanted to gift me with something practical that I would use and love.
Three Ways to Give a Stitch Fix Gift Card
Even better yet, Stitch Fix offers several ways to give the gift of style:
You can print a gift card at home and add a handwritten note to deliver in person.
You can also send a Stitch Fix gift card via email and arrange for immediate delivery or schedule it to arrive via email on a specific day.
If you really want your gift to be extra special, you can also arrange for a traditional gift card via snail mail. The gift cards arrive is a beautiful kraft paper box with gold embossing. So chic! Just make sure you order soon – all orders placed before December 12 are guaranteed to arrived by Christmas Eve.
Add Stitch Fix to Your Holiday Wish List
If you’re reading this blog post, you probably already love Stitch Fix and would love to find a Stitch Fix gift card in your own stocking this year. I always create a Christmas Wish List pinterest board that’s filled with gifts I would love to receive, then I send friends and family members a link to my Pinterest board. If you’re hoping to receive The Gift of Style this holiday season, pin this image to your own wish list on Pinterest to send your loved ones a little hint.
Coordinate Your Fix with a Friend
The only thing better than receiving a Stitch Fix gift card is sharing the experience with a friend. Trust me on this one. Nicki and I had so much fun oohing and ahhing over each other’s clothes. We shared accessories, talked about the perfect way to style our new clothes, and ranked our favorite pieces from each other’s fix.
Skip your next girl’s trip to the mall and coordinate your next fix with a friend. I love anything personal and low-key and scheduling a fix together is just the ticket. Nicki and I have grown, and our responsibilities have changed so much in the past few years. But somehow, when we took time out of our very busy days to have a little Stitch Fix fun, it was like old times – and it was wonderful!
