Rob and I are so excited for Dessa’s first Christmas. There is so much more magic in the air this holiday season now that we are parents. It’s as if we are seeing Christmas with fresh eyes for the very first time since our own childhoods. Dessa may not understand anything about Christmas, Santa, or presents under the tree (she just enjoys staring at all the pretty lights) but that hasn’t made the season any less special. We are treasuring every holiday moment with her. From Dessa’s first snowfall to her first Santa visit (which is hopefully scheduled for tomorrow), this Christmas is all that we had hoped it would be.
