Welcome back for the second half of my April Stitch Fix referral link Review. This month’s fix has several wonderful maternity items, which are perfect as I head into the 6th month of my pregnancy. If you missed the first half of my post, just click the image below to catch up. Otherwise, let’s keep going so I can show you the remaining items in my fix this month!
Lauderdale Knit Cardigan
You know how I said I have been craving light colors to put me in the mood for spring? Jodi hit the nail on the head when she sent the Lauderdale Knit Cardigan from Market & Spruce ($38). The blush pink open cardigan was just my style. Look at the price – only $38! And it’s not even a maternity item. I’m not even going to hold you in suspense – this sweater was definitely a keeper!
I played up the neutrals with this look and it has me so excited for spring! The cardigan looked great with my non-maternity striped tank (a Nordstrom bargain!), some dark maternity jeans, and gray tennis shoes. I accessorized with my silver Kate Spade watch, my silver and gray Kendra Scott bracelet, and a blush pink statement necklace from Loft to add a little sparkle. Hands down, this is my new favorite weekend look.
I also like that I don’t look gigantically pregnant in this outfit. I’ve noticed that maternity shirts have a way of enhancing the bump and making it look so big. I can still fit into many of my flowy, non-maternity tops and blouses; which I wear to work often.
On the occasional day that I wear an actual maternity top, people do a double take at my bump and say “Whoa! Where did that come from?” I don’t think they believe me when I say that it totally depends on what kind of top I wear. Well, here’s the proof. I look significantly less pregnant in these photos than the others in my post and it’s all because of the top. It’s almost like this baby bump is another accessory in my wardrobe. Sometimes I like to enhance it. Sometimes I like to downplay the bump. Either way, it’s good to have options. For now.

Karene Perforated Bootie
The final item that Jodi included in my fix was a pair of shoes. You do know that Stitch Fix referral link also carries shoes, right? This month she sent the Karene Perforated Bootie from DV8 ($95). The thing I love most about Stitch Fix shoes is that they work with well-known shoe designers in the industry and these Dolce Vita booties were no exception!
The tan booties made my neutral-loving heart happy and they were a perfect fit. As a matter of fact, they even looked pretty spectacular with my new favorite weekend outfit.
As tempted as I was to keep the Karene Perforated Booties, I ultimately decided to send them back. I could only afford to keep one item from this month’s fix and I just didn’t love the shoes as much as the blush cardigan. If you’re in the market for a new pair of booties, I highly recommend pinning these and requesting them from your stylist. I also found similar pairs online if you just can’t wait for your next fix.

I’very been using stitch fix for 4 or 5 months now! So fun!
I kept that same cardigan from my March Fix and love it. The pink looks great in you!
Is yours Pink too? This just became my favorite spring cardigan!
Yes, mine is also pink. It’s identical to yours. :)
The clothes are adorable! I’ve been on the verge of taking the stitch fix plunge.
I get my third Stitch Fix box this week! It’s like Christmas every time!
you look adorable!
I love Stitch Fix! It did take a while for my stylist to get to know my style, but now it is so worth it! It’s great for expanding your wardrobe and putting together wonderful outfits!
The cardigan looks beautiful on you and I love the casual weekend style.
You have much better self-control than I do! I would have kept it all!!!
Thanks Rebecca! It can be seriously difficult not to keep everything, but Rob and I are pretty intense about our budget.
I love that you know your budget and are so strict about finding the one item that works in your fix. The blush cardigan is a great choice!
You always look great in everything you get from stitch fix! I wish it was in my budget to use this service. :)
I wish I could see some more of the clothes before deciding to commit.
Dedicated Stitch Fix customer here for a little over a year! I don’t get regular fixes but adore the experience each time I do! Absolutely adore the cardigan you kept this month. :)
You look great in your maternity pieces Maria! I love that Stitch Fix offers maternity now, and wish they had it when I was pregnant with my kids. You kept such a darling piece, super versatile, and the color is too pretty. XOXO, Elif
I have been a Stitch Fixer now for 8 months. Having so much fun with the service. Maria you look fabulous in your SF maternity pieces. The cardi you kept is a perfect piece and is really nice that you will be able to wear it after having your little sweetie.
Thank you Kay! I’m so thankful that they have cute maternity options!
I love your reviews. I’ve only received one fix. My second is on it’s way. So excited.
Ooooh, that is exciting! I hope it’s a great fix!
I loved it all on you! Wish you could have kept it all. Pregnancy agrees with you. :)
Thank you Stacy! I wish I could have kept it all too!
I’ve only gotten one fix and my second is slated for June. I’m really excited to see what I get!
I’m excited FOR you!
All cute on you. I like the polka dot sweater and the pink sweater. I’ve had 6 fixes but buy a lot of eBay or B/S/T boards
That cardigan and those booties!! LOVE!
It would be hard to send back any of these pieces, they all look great! I’d have picked the cardigan too though. Such a lovely happy spring color.
Everything looks great on you, but the pink cardigan is so versatile with or without being pregnant. Great choice!
i love that you talk about your budget! i married a dave ramsey guy, so this is an important issue to us. we talk about money constantly to make sure we are always on the same page with our budget and financial goals/decisions. but also, we bought, are renovating, and living in a $20,000 house in our small town. we are committed to to our budget and spending carefully in general, but especially on this renovation – my husband is doing all the work himself, and we are being careful to NOT spend more on things like furniture/home decor than we did on the entire house (which would be incredibly easy to do). it can be so frustrating to be around people who don’t have that same mindset. although we are doing well financially, we don’t always have the newest, “best” things. i have to remind myself that we are doing well BECAUSE of our budget and financial goals, and that our dedication will continue to serve us well…..because sometimes i just want to spend $3500 on a beautiful piece of furniture from pottery barn :)
Kayla, your comment is music to my ears! You and your husband sound so much like Rob and I! We are always talking about money too. ALWAYS. And it helps us stay in track. I love that you bought andcare renovating your home (it’s my dream to find a perfect house and renovate it, but we will probably have to budget for a contractor because Rob won’t be up for that kind of big pr
… project). I know how frustrating it can be to keep your budget in check when you want all the pretty things and I am right here struggling with you on that one. Even if you bought all the pretty things to fill your house, we both know you would just want more stuff. You are going to love that finished house so much and I’m certain it will bring you so much contentment when it’s complete!
Stitch fix is so fun. I’ve had pretty good luck using them.
I love that blush pink!
I love all of the fashion you show in this blog. I’ve been following your blog for a year and have been in love with stitch fix. Thank you! Congrats on your baby. I have three kids. Each time the Bella band saved my life with my non maternity pants.
Thank you for your sweet comment! I have a Bella band and tried using it a few months ago. It sort of slid around and didn’t quite work the way I had hoped. Now that my bump is substantially larger, maybe I should and give it another try!
Just started reading and you’re so encouraging in finding a personal style – something I’ve really struggled with! Thanks for showing us it’s easier and more manageable than we think :)
I have a Stitch Fix account, but have never had a box shipped to me. My husband and I are debt snowballing so buying new clothes is a want, not a need, for now!
I know the struggle between wants and needs very well. Keep snowballing and Stitch Fix can be your reward when you are finally debt-free! (Or a special treat if you win the giveaway).
I loved my first box so much that I bought everything!!
That’s always the best kind of fix!
I love the dress and the cardigan!!! Great fix!
Hi Maria! The blush cardigan outfit looks fantastic on you!! Perfect choice! :) I’ve been a Stitch Fix customer for two years, I think!! :D
I just received my 4th stitch fix in a year. I was a little disappointed. I asked for a couple fun tops for a trip to Vegas and everything I got was so plain and boring ☹️
I love the blush cardigan! I had good luck with the 2nd maternity fix I received and kept everything. I’m due July 24, just a little after you. I am going to try to hold off with another Fix until after baby, though…unless I win! :)

I’ve been a Stitch Fix customer for about a year and a half – love it!
I love that dress! Beautiful!
Very cute! You are so much better at styling these things than I am. :) As someone else mentioned (or a few), I appreciated your budgeting comment. Because StitchFix is part of the reason I had to take FPU and is part of my reward once I pay things off. :)
I love the cardigan and the black top. But you’ll get more wear out of the cardigan.
My thoughts exactly!
Love the open knit cardigan, perfect for spring!
I haven’t tried it yet! I first heard about it when I was pregnant with my daughter almost 4 years. I thought I would wait til I was back in regular clothes. I’m not sure they offered maternity at that time. Then life happened and I had our son in Nov! Since I already had a maternity wardrobe from the first time I really didn’t need anything. Now I am about down to pre-baby shape & ready to give it a try!
I have been a Stitch Fix customer for about two years now. I wasn’t that impressed for the first year or so, but the stylist I have had for the last three fixes has been fantastic! I have that same Market & Spruce cardigan in gray and it is my absolute favorite!
I have been a member of Stitch Fix for about 3 years now! Unfortunately, I can only afford seasonal fixes but I LOVE them so much!
Oh I LOVE that cardigan!!
I love stitch fix! I’ve been a customer, about 4 years. I took a long break in that time, got some more last year and now am taking a break again because my budget can’t handle it at the moment. I plan to jump in again though once things are on firmer footing!
I love stitch fix so much and I love reading your blog!!
I tend to be more an in-person shopper, but the few times I’ve done Stitchfix, it was fun. I love those tan booties – such a pretty brown.
I’ve been getting fixes for a little over a year. I love seeing your maternity items since I’m about 8 weeks behind you!
I have received 5 fixes and currently have mine on hold because I am pregnant and didn’t want to do the maternity fixes. I like to shop bargains for my maternity clothes since I won’t be wearing them long.
I’ve been using Stitch Fix for a year and a half. I’ve gotten 12 fixes!
I love stitch fix!! I’ve been using the service for about 6 months. I look forward to my box each month!!
I’ve never tried Stitch Fix, for a couple of reasons. My weight has been fluctuating the past few years and I currently wear plus size which they didn’t used to carry. It sounds like they’re offering that now so I’m excited to try. Also, I didn’t care about fashion or clothing until last fall. I was feeling really self-conscious of my body so I decided I should dress nicer in order to feel better, and it’s been helping… so now I care about clothes and would love to try Stitch Fix. :)
I don’t know how you manage o look onl one thing! Every time I get a fix I want to keep everything. My stylist is amazing!
Sometimes it takes a LOT of self control, especially when you’ve got a really great stylist!
I’ve been a SF customer for about 3 years. I usually keep 1-2 pieces in each Fix, have yet to have one that I love all 5!
I just had my one-year anniversary as a Stitch Fix subscriber! Love it!
I think I’m going on 3 years now, but I only do it on demand, not monthly. Love it!
Adorable stitch fix box to get ready for spring!
I’ve been getting fixes for about a year and a half. It’s usually seasonal or for special occasions.
Just got my first box last week. Love seeing your reviews!
I’m newer to SF and working to replace my wardrobe after having 3 kids and doing nearly no clothing shopping for 6 years! SF makes it fun and easy to do. :)
Oh my! After 6 years without new clothes, you definitely deserve to treat yourself with Stitch Fix! I hope you’re having a lot of success with your fixes.
You are looking so good. Have fun dressing that bump! BTW, Stitch Fix is amazing. It’s like my secret store where clothes are so fun and fit me!
Thank you so much Emily! The bump keeps growing and it’s always a challenge to dress in a way that makes me feel confident about my recent “expansion”. And I completely agree that Stitch Fix IS amazing!
I love this box and I love what you chose to keep. I also really respect how you keep right in your budget, you knew you could only chose one and you stuck to it.
Thank you Holly! Rob and I take our budget very seriously. I’m very much in the habit of making difficult clothing decisions because I know I can’t afford it all.
I always look forward to your updates and new fixes!
I’m glad to hear that Lisa!
I am debating about trying stitch fix.. Mostly because of the cost.
You are seriously beautiful in everything you try on.
You are too sweet! Don’t be fooled too much… I always try to look my best in Stitch Fix day. Other times I look like a hot mess!
