It has been quite some time since there has been an update here from me. I am sorry, I just have 2 other blogs I work on so it is hard to focus much time here.
So what has been going on? Well we had Liam this past week. We went and picked him up from his mom’s last saturday, while also picking up some of my mom’s personal belongings after she past away. Everything went well for the most part. Those that know Liam also know how much of a pain he can be and I could tell he got to Lisa on more then one occasion.
We spent all day Wed, in Galveston. We went to Moody Gardens, the Beach and a few resteraunts. We ate WAY to much. But next week starts our pre-wedding diet:(.
Coming into the weekend we couldn’t help but be excited. The week in general had been loaded with unpacking and getting the apartment setup. We had planned the weekend a few weeks back. It was a big weekend for us as it was to be one big weekend to celebrate my Birthday, our 9 month anniversary as well as Valentines day.
Valentines day was the day we settled to do everything on. We had little celebrations for our anniversary and my birthday. We picked up a few supplies to make drinks, margeritas and Appletinis(blame JD). But as I was saying Valentines day was our big night. The morning started with us waking up and exchanging Gifts, we got up and went and had some breakfast at IHOP, our favorite breakfast stop. Then we came home and relaxed. For dinner we headed to Texas Roadhouse and then hit up a movie afterwords. It wasn’t elaborate but we had a great day.
Yes they are! In a little over a month I will be making the move to Houston. Lisa and I have had to re-evaluate our choice in apartments after reading some less then stellar reviews we found.
This turn of events means we will be cutting things fairly close. I plan on leaving my job the second week of February giving me a few days to pack and be ready to head down there on the 13th. I like to try and reuse that date as much as possible since its a date that means so much to me.
I couldn’t be more excited about the move there is just so much to get done. We have hardly even played WoW lately since we have had so much on our plate. But thats how life is I suppose.
Maybe Lisa will be posting soon with more info about the wedding, or any other kind of post I suppose
Currently I am stuck in Lewisville, Texas a drull hum-dum town that lacks any sort of enjoyment for me. I stay in my apartment most the time and can not wait to get out. Lisa and I went back and forth a few times about whether I should move to Houston or if she should move up here. Quite frankly this town bores me anymore and have no problem moving down there.
So our plan at this point is to get me down there by mid Feb. I would have loved to go down sooner but my mom is currently in the hospital after suffering a stroke and the docters found some lesions on the grey matter on her brain. Since I share a birthday with my mom, which is Feb. 11th I thought it best that I stay up here so we can celebrate and then I would pack up and head down to Houston. Lisa and I already have an aprtment picked out and we are waiting for me to head down there in January so we can go get the app in and get everything set up and ready for the move.
Everything is coming together nicely and our furture couldnt be much brighter then it is right now.
Crazy together is a blog for me and my future Wife Lisa to talk about our lives and be able to share easily with friends and family. Never has it been easier for people to update others and keep them informed on whats going on in there lives. This is our outlet and we hope everyone enjoys reading.
