It’s the first of the month and time for another peek at my latest Stitch Fix Maternity review. This month’s fix had a mix of dressy and casual options – including a pair of blush pink shoes! It was an interesting mix and I can’t wait to show you what arrived in my fix this month. I’m also thrilled to partner with some of my blogging friends again to bring you a $300 Stitch Fix gift card, so you’ll definitely want to read all the way to the end of this post.

A little bit about Stitch Fix …
By now, you’ve probably heard of Stitch Fix, but you may not quite understand how it all works. Stitch Fix is basically the most fashionable (and most convenient) thing to ever happen to my wardrobe. To get started, hop over to StitchFix.com and complete a free style profile. It only takes about 10 minutes to share your sizes and style preferences. You can even set price preferences on different types of clothing (I let my stylist send higher priced pants and dresses, but my spending limit is lower for tops and blouses).
Whenever you are ready, you can schedule your very first fix. It only costs $20 and when you schedule a fix, you will be matched with a personal stylist who will review your style profile and hand-pick five items just for you. The fix will be shipped to your front door for free.
Try on all of the items in the convenience of your home within three days of their arrival. I love this part because (unlike a traditional shopping experience) I can try on all of the items with my existing wardrobe and accessories to make sure the items truly work with the clothes I already own. After you’ve tried everything on, check out online, keep the items you love and return any unwanted items in the pre-paid shipping envelope that is included in your fix. That’s right: returns are free, too. Another added bonus is that the $20 styling fee that you paid up front is automatically deducted from the cost of any items you wish to keep.
I’ve been a loyal Stitch Fix customer for over 3 years and I absolutely love this service. Another added bonus is that you have the flexibility to use Stitch Fix as a subscription box and schedule recurring fixes or just schedule one fix at a time as needed. There is no obligation to sign up for recurring fixes and a lot of customers just order a new fix each season or when they have a vacation coming up. Stitch Fix is 100% customizable to your needs.
Stitch Fix offers styling services for women (including maternity and plus size styling) and for men. My husband, Rob, is also a loyal and happy Stitch Fix customer. You can check out one of his reviews here. They also recently added great new labels like Kate Spade, Splendid and Rebecca Minkoff to their collection. I honestly won’t be able to afford those brands any time soon, but I am so excited that I have to option to receive designer clothes and accessories in future fixes!
The maternity styling services that Stitch Fix offers have been so helpful to me during each trimester of this pregnancy. I’m so excited to finally share my June Stitch Fix Maternity review.
Meruna Maternity Mesh Detail Knit Top
The first item that my stylist, Kate, included in my fix this month was a Meruna Maternity Mesh Detail Knit Top from Skies are Blue Maternity ($54). The top was a perfect, flattering fit and was so easy to dress up for a special occasion. I initially styled the top with my black slim fit dress pants from Thyme Maternity. (a staple for me this pregnancy!) I also added black patent leather heels (similar), along with the crystal cuff bracelet and necklace I wore for my wedding. It was a great look that was so easy to feel comfortable in yet also look like I really made an effort for a special occasion.
The outfit was great, but this knit top was an unexpected shining star. I loved the floral detail around the neckline and the hint of mesh added a pop of extra interest.
RECREATE THE LOOK
For a more professional look that was perfect for school, I traded the heels for my matte black Tieks, a Kendra Scott Elisa necklace and my silver Kate Spade watch.
RECREATE THE LOOK
People ask all the time about my Tieks. They want to know if they are really comfortable and if they are worth the expense. I own four different pair and it’s safe to say that I have definitely gotten my money out of each pair that I’ve purchased. If you’ve been curious to try Tieks and want to learn more, check out my very honest Tieks review.
Kent Maternity Capri Skinny Jean
The second item that I tried on from my fix was a white pair of cropped Kent Maternity Capri Skinny Jean from Lila Ryan ($98).
Pairing the Meruna Maternity Mesh Detail Knit Top with black pants was a great professional and dressy look. As much as I loved that look, pairing the knit top with white pants and accessories added a lightness to the top that was perfect for summer! In this case, I wore my silver Kate Spade watch, my silver Kendra Scott Elisa necklace with a white stone, and a pair of inexpensive white braided sandals from Target (check out this year’s version here).
RECREATE THE LOOK
After seeing just how versatile the Meruna Maternity Mesh Detail Knit Top from Skies are Blue Maternity ($54) was, I finally made the decision to keep it!
As much as I loved the Kent Maternity Capri Skinny Jean and wanted to keep them, this particular pair was a little too tight. They fit ok once they were on, but it required way too much effort to pull them up over my hips. I reluctantly decided to send this pair back, but I’ve been on the lookout for a different pair of white maternity capris to go with my gorgeous teal knit top. I just discovered this pair online and I am so tempted to order them once my size comes back in stock!
Malika Perforated Ballet Flat
I was pleasantly surprised to see that my stylist, Kate, also included a pair of shoes in my fix! She tuned right into my personal style when she sent a beautiful pair of Malika Perforated Ballet Flats from Report Footwear ($45).
I loved the look of these shoes and eagerly tried them on. It turns out, that the elastic wraparound straps were more work to slip my feet into than I expected (they were actually more work for me to try on than a pair of shoes with laces). And even though the elastic wasn’t too tight on my ankles, it sort of enhanced and drew attention to my swollen ankles.
I decided to return the shoes. They were just a little too much work to try on. Plus, I already have a pair of ballerina pink Tieks that are nearly the same color, are much faster to slip my feet into, and are more forgiving of my swollen ankles.
See the Rest of My Fix
